The Music HallRecord Cleaning Brush(previously called Hunt EDA), uses two rows of fibers with astatic grounding pad between them. Thefibers areable to dig down deep into the groove and extract trapped dust.

A more traditional “fat pad” can’t get down into the groove;it simply brushes over the top and removes the surface dust. The real culprit is the dust thats trapped deep in the record groove.

Using thebrush

Dont pushthe brush down on the record, simply support it and let the brushs weight do the work. You want to keep those bristles erect, not rolled over. TheMusic Hall brush comes with its own support stand, which doubles as a brush-cleaning tool. Slide the stand back and forth across the carbon fiber bristles to remove collected dust. This will keep the carbon fibers clean and free from your messy hand oils.
