This giant power amplifier represents the apex of InPol technology. InPol (Inseguitore Pompa Lineare- Linear Pump Follower) is a Pathos patented system that allows for much greater output in pure Class A. This fully balanced circuit design uses a single solid-state component in follower configuration, with a high-current gain and voltage gain together.
In the Adrenalin it results in a sensitive and refined amp with astonishing output capability. A unitary gain power buffer is controlled by a tube amplification stage using three double triodes, two ECC83/12AX7 and one 6H30. The first stage generates voltage amplification, and the second is a buffer with a common anode with the 6H30 that drives two groups of power MOSFETs. The result is a very powerful, extremely linear amplifier without global feedback.
