The silver disc is not dead. There are still huge CD collections out there, and CDs are cheap as well. This component is dedicated simply toextracting as much information off an audio CD as possible and sending your DAC a low-jitter, low error correction digital stream over optical or RCA S/PDIF.

The CXC uses astate-of-the-art, proprietary S3 Servo to regulate disc speed and ensure error-free playback. An all-metal caseisolates components, ensuring an extremely low noise floor. Gapless playback is supported, and it comes with a remote control.

The control bus input and output allows the CXC to be part of multiroom and home control systems. The cable is included.
