As with Reed’s other tonearms,the 2G features 0.2 mm precision VTA adjustment and the tonearms height can be adjusted from 28 mm to 48 mm.
TheReed2G has a cardanic bearing system. The vertical axis has thrust rotation bearings, and the horizontal axis is based on thrust pivot bearings,similar to the Reed 3P. This bearing construction eliminates wobbling, which has a great impact on the quality of the sound.
All Reed 2G tonearms have a unique azimuth adjustment system, which allowsfor replaceable arm wands using a high-quality LEMO connector. This allows you to change tonearm effective length and effective mass with no hassle.
In addition, theReed2G has magnetic antiskate, and a replaceable headshell.Itcan be wired with Finewire C37 cable or have a 5-pin DIN connector for a custom cabling solution.
