The SD 3100 HV is a dedicated streaming DAC without the preamp stage of theSDV 3100 HV.It can be connected to the P 3100 HV preamplifier or the PA 3100 HV integrated amplifier via one of its analog outputs. Connect the PDT 3100 HV reference disc mechanism to play CD or SACD.

The headphone amp isno afterthought on the SD 3100 HV, butis an extremelyhigh-performance analogdesign which also uses HV (T+A’s high voltage) technology.It works completely in Class A.

As with allHVproducts,the SD 3100 HV is built of pure aluminum, with no ferro-magnetic materials.There arefive compartments separated by aluminum dividing walls for each of the sections:digital inputs, the D/A converters with analog output stage, the analog power supply, the digital power supply, and the control section.
