Denon’s Ultra AL32 Processing uses interpolation algorithms to produce high-resolution output. Supporting input signals up to 384kHz/24-bit, it upsamples for smoother waveforms and improved sound reproduction. While upsampling cannot compensate for information that was never on the recording in the first place, it improves sound by moving digital filters and their deleterious effects much higher up the frequency band, keeping the audible band as clean and linear as possible.
