The Edition XV planar magnetic headphones feature an enhanced magnet, second-generation headband, and a second-generation NEO Supernano diaphragm, which is just 60% of the thickness of the first generation.

The enhanced magnets use rare-earth-free permanent magnets in an optimally designed structure that achieves a sensitivity that’s comparable to dirvers with rare-earth magnets.

The composite headband is lighter than before and has rotatable hinges for wearing comfort. The new 3.5 mm sockets are non-proprietary and the supplied 3.5 mm cable is easily upgraded or replaced.
