The latest update to the venerable AT33 Seriesthe first extensive overhaul in yearsbrings new warmth and fullness to your vinyl playback. Incorporating technological and material improvements, including Audio-Technicas first use of die-cast zinc at the base of the cartridge to suppress resonance and enhance expressiveness in the mid to low frequencies, the AT33x Series cartridges let you hear the finest details across the audio spectrum.

The AT33xEN is an excellent all-around cartridge choice, delivering warm, full-bodied audio reproduction. It features a 0.3 0.7 mil elliptical nude stylus attached to a hard duralumin tapered pipe cantilever, providing excellent groove tracking with refined high-frequency control. The newly developed suspension mechanism uses piano wire for improved tracking accuracy and slightly lower dynamic compliance, resulting in a more substantial presentation in the mid-low range.

The cartridges composite body, made of die-cast zinc, aluminum, and high-rigidity polymer, reduces and disperses resonance across the entire body for balanced, natural sound reproduction that doesnt favor particular frequencies. The AT33x dual moving coil design features independent left- and right-channel PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) coils for outstanding channel separation and smooth, low-distortion signal transmission. A neodymium magnet and permendur yoke generate a powerful magnetic field that maximizes efficiency and resolution, ensuring lifelike analog playback.

Like all AT33x Series cartridges, the AT33xEN includes threaded mounting holes for easy installation using just two screwsespecially convenient for integrated tonearms.
