Compatible with multiple DJ applications and streaming services
The DDJ-FLX2 works with popular DJ applications for beginners and professionals including rekordbox, djay, and Serato DJ Lite. After installing a preferred app on a mobile device, DJs can connect to the controller and start DJing right away. DJs can also access more advanced features by connecting the DDJ-FLX2 with DJ software on a PC/Mac.
Mix easily with Smart CFX and Smart Fader
Its easy to replicate the seamless song mixing of professional DJs thanks to the Smart CFX and Smart Fader features on the DDJ-FLX2.
Smart CFX enables DJs to recreate complex and dynamic effect techniques used by professionals with a simple turn of a knob. Use Smart CFX to connect tracks together and to make performances more dynamic by adding emphasis to the music.
Smart Fader automatically optimizes control of the volume, BPM, and bass, which is all needed when transitioning between tracks, and all users have to do is slide the crossfader in one direction. DJs can easily mix tracks from different genres, even if they have vastly different tempos (BPM).
Lightweight, compact body with user-friendly features
The DDJ-FLX2 is AlphaThetas lightest and most compact DJ controller, so DJs can take it anywhere to play. It runs on USB bus power, eliminating the need for an external power supply when connected to a PC/Mac or a mobile device (except for some Android devices) via USB Type-C. DJs can get started easily by playing music through the built-in speakers on a PC/Mac/mobile device, or, through speakers when plugged into the audio output terminals of the DDJ-FLX2. DJs can level-up their skills using headphones to cue up tracks and by learning various DJ techniques.
Performance Pads for professional-style DJing
Its easy to manipulate music with the DDJ-FLX2s Performance Pads. Pad Mode Select allows DJs to switch between various modes, including Hot Cue mode to mark any point in a track e.g., the intro or chorus like a bookmark, allowing DJs to instantly jump to that point. With Pad FX, DJs can apply a variety of effects simply by pressing the pads to add a personal touch to the music. And, using the sampler, DJs can add sound effects or try performance techniques like finger drumming.
