I was nervous that morning-I’m always nervous when meeting new people. I had met Alex for the first time the day before and was meeting Linn for the first time at the studio. The recording felt good, though of course I think I could have done better. But we wanted to capture the songs in a natural state-not too rehearsed and without too many takes or edits.
