Diana DZ offers lots of spatial information and depth like the big AB1266, and sounds great with both tube and solid-state amps.

Diana DZ sounds awesome on big tube amps and the resolution directs your ears toward very subtle low-level details and spatial cues within the large musical soundstage that tubes tend to accentuate. DZ wont rip apart the recording and the system, its more about enjoying the content rather than analyzing it, sophisticated detail within the musical presentation.

Diana DZ is also lighter and more comfortable. This new model is built upon a lightweight machined aluminum frame with a highly engineered internal structure providing strength and acoustics to compliment the new Abyss DZ planar speaker driver. DZ is the lightest Abyss headphone ever produced.

New hybrid ear pads with soft Ultrasuede on the face side come stock, this combines with a further refined internal headband design and relaxed fitment, and the new sling headband completely eliminates top-of-head hot spots. In all, DZ is 99.9% compatible with any head shape.
