The A12 APEX features the hybrid design of our flagship integrated amplifiers, with high power output (190W in Class A/B under 8) and the same musicality that is recognized worldwide. It has two power transformers to drive even the most demanding speakers on the market.
At the heart of the A12 APEX lies a hybrid amplifier design inspired by Advance Pariss flagship models. Delivering an impressive 190 watts per channel in Class A/B under 8, the amplifier ensures both finesse and authority. Its dual toroidal transformers provide outstanding current reserves, capable of effortlessly driving even the most demanding speakers with accuracy and control.
The A12 APEX offers extensive input options for both analog and digital sources. It includes eight analog inputs (five RCA, one Phono MM/MC, and two XLR) and eight digital inputs, featuring three optical, three coaxial, one USB, one AES/EBU, and an HDMI eARC connection. Bluetooth aptX HD and Low Latency connectivity are available via the optional A-BTC module, enabling seamless wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets, or computers.
Ease of use meets advanced functionality with a suite of intelligent settings including loudness, bass, treble, and balance controls. The A12 APEX also offers automatic standby (adjustable from 5 to 60 minutes), trigger inputs and outputs for synchronized system power, and connectivity for dual subwoofers, preamp outputs, and recording devices. A voltage selector (110220V) ensures compatibility across regions.
Music enthusiasts will appreciate the High-Bias switch, which activates double Class A bias to extend the amplifiers Class A operation range for a richer, warmer sound. Additionally, the preamplifier section employs two ECC81/12AT7 tubes, delivering the signature warmth and musicality that define Advance Paris components.
Equipped with an ESS9039 DAC, the A12 APEX delivers pristine digital audio performance with remarkable detail and low distortion. Its measured performance includes a frequency response from 20Hz to 80kHz, signal-to-noise ratio of 104.8dB, and distortion as low as 0.047%, ensuring faithful reproduction of every nuance in your music.
