Careless Love – Vinyl LP

Limited edition vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Madeleine Peyroux’s 2004 critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Careless Love, found the smoky-voiced singer at the top of her game, covering a diverse collection of songs by everyone from Elliott Smith to Hank Williams. Breakout track “Don’t Wait Too Long” helped push Madeleine into the mainstream by topping the jazz charts and appearing in national commercial spots and film soundtracks. All the tracks are cover versions, except for “Don’t Wait Too Long,” which Peyroux co-wrote with Jesse Harris and Larry Klein. Peyroux is a beloved jazz singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She is noted for her vocal style, which has been compared to that of Billie Holiday.
