The Yi8 features a 2-way passive design with two 8 drivers arranged in a dipole arrangement and a centrally mounted 1.4 compression driver equipped with a wave transformer. It offers 80 horizontal directivity controlled down to 500 Hz, supporting vertical arrays of up to twenty-four loudspeakers.

The Yi8’s vertical splay angles can be precisely adjusted between 0 and 14 in 1 increments. These arrays can be composed exclusively of Yi8 loudspeakers or combined with Yi12 and/or Yi-SUB cabinets for flexible system setup.
