It helps counterbalance heavier zoom lenses and larger lens tubes, which makes it a reliable option for long-throw applications. Balancing the fixture’s weight, it achieves smooth tilting during movement. It is recommended for use with zoom and 5 to 10 lens tubes, as well as 5 to 19 XDLT lens tubes (LED only).
