Django Reinhardt made his name in Paris with violinist Stphane Grappelli and their Quintette du Hot Club de France in the 1930s and 1940s, as well as the bands of Alex Renard, Alix Combelle, Ray Ventura, Claude Bolling and Jerry Mango.
